On Saturday afternoon, July 19 there was a fatal accident in Mobile County.
According to Alabama State Troopers, the accident happened around 12.45 p.m. on Celeste Road near Salco Road, five miles north of Saraland. Alton George Miller aged 63 and of Chunchula was driving a 2000 Toyota Corolla when he collided with a 2000 Ford F 150 being driven by 40 year old Anthony James Herbert of Citronelle.
It is not known what caused the collision and it is still under investigation.
Miller, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene.
In Miller’s car was a passenger, 63 year old Clayton James Bradford of Mobile and he was also injured along with an 18 year old passenger. The state of their injuries is not known.
Herbert was also taken to the hospital for his injuries.
